this is malachi and me at the carnival. he's the third little blessing who has joined our family. he was 9 months old in the picture. i call him my zen baby. he is mostly zen, except on those occasions when he feels the need to wallop one of his siblings. apparently he's too evolved for crawling. he scoots around on his bottom everywhere he wants to go. he loves to sing, dance, and play drums, xylophone, and shakers. he has a beautiful sense of humor. even things that would make some babies cry make him laugh. but not when someone else appears to be hurt. then he cries. he is awesome and i'm so thankful he's in our family. :)
